In this post, I want to show you how reading a book can spark some more creativity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>If you want to venture into improv quilts, I have the book for you:<!--more--><\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rayna Gillman\u2019s Create your own Improv Quilt from C&amp;T Publishing<\/span><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I downloaded<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ctpub.com\/create-your-own-improv-quilts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> this book<\/a> on my Ipad before going on holidays last November as an easy read for me while on vacation.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 560px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/cdn1.bigcommerce.com\/n-dvzvde\/3l9ek\/product_images\/uploaded_images\/11209-frontcover-67558.1494279485.1104.1280-copy.jpg\" alt=\"Create your own improv quilts by Rayna Gillman\" width=\"560\" height=\"725\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Create your own improv quilts was just the right read to jump start my creativity<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I started reading the book on the plane ride to my destination but as soon as I saw the project instructions from the cover page, I wanted to scream to the pilot to turn around so that I could get back home and make the quilt. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I strongly believe that this book played a significant role in getting me back into my studio and loving to quilt all over again. <\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As soon as I came back home I started picking out fabrics and I made my rendition of Rayna\u2019s beautiful quilt in a week. I decided to\u00a0<\/span>finish the binding while waiting. \u00a0This was a really good idea! I felt like the project was finished.
